Description
Cough expectorant used for the management of productive cough.
Indications
Productive cough associated with following conditions:
- Chronic Bronchitis
- Bronchial Asthma
- Emphysema
- Bronchiectasis
Recommended Dosage
Adults - 10 ml (2 tsb) 3 times daily
Children - 1-5 years 5 ml (1 tbs) twice daily
5 - 10 years 5 ml (1 tbs) 3 times daily
Above 10 years 10 ml (2 tbs) thrice daily
Presentation
Codylex Expectorant is available in 50ml and 100ml pet bottles.
Composition
Each 5ml contains
| Ambroxol Hydrochloride BP | 15mg |
| Guaiphenesin IP | 50 mg |
| Terbutaline sulphate IP | 1.25mg |
