Parenteral Vitamins

Description

It is a Vitamin B-Complex parenteral formulation that is available as multidose vials.

Indications

Moderate to severe B-Complex deficiencies where parenteral use is warranted.

Recommended Dosage

One to two ml per day by deep intramuscular injection. The same dose may be given as slow IV after appropriate dilution.

Safety

It is generally safe and well tolerated. However, it is contraindicated in persons with a history of hypersensitivity to thiamine or any of the other ingredients present in this preparation. Not to be used in newborn or premature infants.

Presentation

Beplex Injection : Available as 10 ml multidose vials. 6 vials per pack.

Composition

After reconstitution, each ml contains :

Thiamine Hydrochloride BP 10.0 mg
Riboflavine Phosphate Sodium BP
equivalent to Riboflavine BP
2 mg
Niacinamide IP 100.0 mg
Pyridoxine Hydrochloride IP 2.0 mg
D-Panthenol IP 5.0 mg
Benzyl Alcohol IP '85 (Preservative) 1.0% v/v
Appropriate overages added
